This is an excellent commentary by Pete Mills of San Antonio's WAOI.com. He make some interesting comparisons between this and the response to gang wars in the Callifornia area, where children were forced to wear uniforms to "even out" the playing field. In the end, he's come to the same deduction we have. That this thing in unenforcable, and rather silly, but the politicians didn't choose it by accident.
Nothing new to see here, but a great read anyway.
