HOLY SHIT!!!
David,
Thank you for your interest in the World Series of Poker. [b:2feeae51b6]We have reviewed your application for media credentials and are pleased to inform you that we have granted your request. [/b:2feeae51b6]
Please note that due to ESPN's role as exclusive broadcast partner, media outlets may videotape or capture motion picture footage inside the World Series of Poker tournament room for a total of 5 minutes per day. Anyone found to be violating this policy will immediately lose his/her credentials and be removed from the property.
Similarly, these credentials are limited to areas immediately adjacent to the World Series of Poker tournament room; they do grant access to the Rio's hotel towers, restaurants or primary gaming areas. B-roll footage of these locations will be made available, via request, in the World Series of Poker media center.
Beginning June 2, you can pick up your press badge at the World Series of Poker Credential Office daily from 11am to 12:30pm or 4pm to 5:30pm. Please schedule your arrival accordingly, as these are the only times credentials will be issued. You must have a valid photo ID in order to receive your press badge.
The credential office is located in the convention area of the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.
Please note that you must wear your press credentials at all times while attending the tournament. No one will be granted access to the press room without proper World Series of Poker credentials.
Please be aware that credentialed members of the press will have access to a limited number of data lines in the World Series of Poker media center, which is located immediately adjacent to the tournament floor. Journalists bringing laptop computers will have the ability to file stories electronically using these hookups.
Many thanks,
Nicole Khoury
