2008 WSOP
So, it started yesterday. Heather and I went by yesterday afternoon. I had never before been in town for the WSOP. We stopped by In-N-Out about 2:30, and it was packed with kids that looked like internet poker whizzes. We got to the Rio, found the parking, and went in. I saw a gazillion well-known pros. The tourney that started yesterday was a 10k, and there was at least one pro on each table, and many more milling about.
It was the kind of scene that should have had me pumped and excited. But, to be honest, I wanted to get out of there pretty quickly. We stayed maybe 15 minutes, and I don't know that I'll go back. We'll see.
