winning a big tournament

winning a big tournament

so ... since i am playing in a wsop event this year... i have been thinking alot about how nice it would be to win.... mainly people like shawn keep bringin this up by calling me and saying things like "you know i am running up a 10k dollar tab the night of right?"

so what would you do if you won a big prize...?

how much money would it take to quit your job?

the amount for me to quit my job i think would be around 200k... 1 i could pay off my house and 2 I could live for a year or two without a job and 3 I could take this time to try my own things out weather they be poker related or not(basically start my own business).

as far as the night of.... well I am in vegas... so large quantities of alcohol would be involved... and strippers are likely to make an appearance... I am not really a super party animal but i could see myself wasting 10 grand on friends and such that evening/week.

keep in mind that i dont really think i will win this tourney just cause i entered but its kind of like when you buy a lotto ticket... you get to dream for a little while. my main goal is to cash, and i think that this is very doable if i can just get a few decent hands the first day.
