Placed 5th out of 45 on Saturday Morning!
I'm just excited to place that high. Kind of a funny story, too.
I was low stack in the top 7 when the wife got back home. I went all-in 4 hands in a row. I doubled up and then knocked off two people in one hand. It wasn't stategy. It was because I had a beautiful woman standing over me promising me things I love to do the following evening if I got off the damn computer because we were late to her brother-in-laws birthday Soiree. Then I finally went all-in with 52 suited against AK suited. The flop came 34K. I showed my wife and explained that it wasn't my fault if I caught a straight, because I was trying to get knocked off (I also asked her what she would be wearing when she did the things she promised). Then the turn and river bailed me out because it was J & A.
Now I wonder if I had not had the balls to go all-in 4 times in a row, would I have finished as well as I did? 5th out of 45 making $4? I guess I'll never know. Don't worry, I'm not getting things out of perspective. I won't be dedicating an entire chapter of my autobiography to this sit-n-go or anything. I just thought it was fun to go all-in 4 times in a row. |
