I shouldn't have shown 1st
$1/$2 - $50-$200 game at motorcity. My table image is loose aggressive.
I'm in the BB and there's 3 limpers before me. I have Kd Qd and raise it up to $15.
The person UTG calls and the other two limpers fold.
HU.
The caller who is relatively new to the table but Ive watched fold some 2nd best hands and reraise with good hands, appears to play solid.
The flop comes 10c 7h Qc.
I bet $35 trying to take the pot and he calls.
4th street is the Ad. The boards now 10c 7h Qc Ad
He only has $83 left, I'm thinking he could have J10, QJ, KJ, AQ or some combination of 4 to a flush or straight.
I bet $50 thinking he can't bluff me or come over top if he's weak or on a draw.
He shoves with his remaining $88 and I call the additional $33.
The river's a 2d. I show my hand and he's says "fucking King kicker" then mucks his hand.
My guess is he had QJ. It's bugging the shit out of me. After busting him it seemed uncalled for to make the dealer show his mucked cards or ask him what he had. I should have made him show 1st. |
