It's always nice to start the day with a 2nd in a 63 person, 5am tourney (10+1 buyin, won 133).
When it got to heads-up, I was outchipped about 83k to 11k. I worked on that, not playing many hands (unusual for me headsup, but if I was playing I was all in). I got up to like 22 or 23k, and got AA on the button. I raised (but not all in as I wasn't as desperate), and he came over the top. Beautiful. I call and he turns over QKo. Beautiful - until he flops a pair and boats on the river. :)
Good times. If you're going to Joe's tonight, watch out because I'm playing pretty well again. |
