Company Poker Tourney?

Company Poker Tourney?

The following is an email from someone at my company I don' t know. For clarification "Jim Trester" is one of the partners at our firm. I wrote them back to see if it is Ryan & Company employees only or if it is open to anyone. I would like to get your feedback on whether you think it would be worth it to enter or not.

The Email Reads:

[quote:d834756181]
We are organizing a Ryan & Company charity No Limit Texas Hold 'Em tournament to raise money for The United Way Campaign. I just selected a few names alphabetically to gauge the interest level for this event.

Details:

25 dollar entry fee (includes tourney, dinner, and non-alcoholic drinks)
Thursday September 1, 2005 6:30p.m. (lasting approx 3 hours) on the 14th floor.
Prizes will include Golf for Three at Gleneagles with Jim Trester, an Airline ticket, and $100 dollar gift certificate to Bob's Steak and Chop

Please use the voting buttons so we can start to plan on a number of interested people.

Thanks guys,
