Pocket 6's and All in...
so last night I was playing what was to be my last tournament online.
it was down to 7 people and the blinds were 50-100 which is rather high for that many people. i had about 700 in chips. I was in early position(but not under the gun.) the big blind was a lose cannon that was calling and raising the entire game with nothing. so i raise from 100 to 250.
1. was this the right move?
the guy immediately next to me goes all in... everyone folds except the big blind he goes all in also... and both of them had me covered.... i only had 450 left in chips and figured maybe both of them just had high cards and i could triple up and with the blinds as high as they were i would get blinded out soon... I was not to worried about the big blind cause well he was insane .. the other guy was sort of loose also... so i think about it and call....
2. at this point was this the right call? (opinions please)
low and behold I was ahead... the BB had A-4 off and the other guy had pocket 5's ...
3. so now did i make the right call? I would say yes.
then the cards fly out ... K-4-3
the turn: 5 (ouch)
the river: J
4. so did i make the right move?
obviously not i guess as it turns out... maybe i should have waited for a better chance or opprotunity. maybe i should have folded preflop.
