Outs Formula
Greetings!
I am a new member to your forum and I have a question for the semi-pros who reside here. I have a decent grasp of poker, but what I can't seem to find is the proper formula for determining outs for pot odds.
Sure I understand that if I have 2 aces and I want a third, I have 2 outs, a four flush leaves me with 9 outs etc...I have those numbers just fine.
What I can't seem to determine is how much those numbers are actually worth? It's easy to see that I am 45 to 1 if I am drawing one card on the river, but what if I am drawing one card on the turn? 46 to one right?
Anyway, I really don't dig on the statistics (I don't understand fractionals at all), and I don't think that they are dire critical unless you are grinding in a 15/30 game anyway.
Anybody help with this? Just toss that formula out there if you know it...
