I'm officially announcing my retirement from the fucking joke that is poker. For the last 6 months, I've been really upset with the play of others at the tables. I've noticed people trying to make things happen with really bad hands, just to be the guy that cracks the good hand. This hasn't happened a few times, it's the new trend in Vegas. I've been talking with other regulars, and they're just as pissed. I can honestly say that I've lost $100 the last 10 times I've played poker. Those that know me know I get my money into the pot with the best hand. I simply can't outlast 6 other callers to the river every time. This game has become a fucking joke. The worst part about it is that everybody feels like they deserve to talk shit after they hit their 1-out. I could keep bitching, but instead I've decided to completely remove myself from any poker play. I will limit myself to the sports section of this website. Guys, it's been fun. I truly hope that poker will one day regain its integrity. For now, I'm out. |
