Horrible run of cards last night
So I log into UB and my first hand delt in the BB was j3 gets to me I check the flop JJ3 I am thinking its gonna be a good nite. Didnt get much action but took down a couple bucks.
So after about and hour of playing I am even lost a few pots nothing big when I just get a horrible run of cards my god it was horrible.
Hand 1. AQh vs 67o I raised preflop this tool calls the flop is 9h 8h rag I am in first position so I bet the pot. I figure this missed everyone I also figured I have 15 outs to win if I didnt have the best hand now. The tool calls turns the Ts I check he checks river was a blank I bet he calls shows me the str8. Only lost a few bucks here but this is where it gets nasty.
These next 3 hands happend in a row:
BB I have J4o get to me I check flop is JJrag. I am think yes gonna get paid so I decide to slowplay this flop since I believe it missed everyone. The tool bets I call. The turn is a 3 I check tool bets I reraise he moves all in for about 7 more. I am sitting here thinking what does he have certainly that 3 didnt help....but it did. I call since I think I am ahead. The tool shows pocket 3's I lose about $15 or so.
Next hand in SB I have Qc7c. Button raises 1BB so I call I figure if I hit cool or dump otherwise. The flop comes, yep u guessed it 77rag. I again decide to slowplay and check to the raiser who bets I call another calls. The turn brings an 8. I check button raises I reraise and someone reraises me. God damn I am thinking WTF. So I call. Yep Tool shows 88.
I am thinking fuck me running two fucking two outers in a row. Shit has cost me 35.
Next Hand AhQh I decide fuck it I am all with two limpers in front of me. I pushed my last $15 in yep you guessed it got called by A9o. Flop brings the A the turn again fucks me and spikes the 9. God damn fuck me running again someone has it in for me. Three hands in a row I have those cock suckers dominated and they hit.
So it hits me I only have $25 left in my account at UB I have withdrawl $400 from my inital starting amount of $25 in the last month. I decided I am gonna buy back in and either double up or bust it all, either way I am done on UB for awhile I need a change.
So I get AQ in the BB again. I figure this is as good a time as any. Some guy (notice I didnt call him a tool this time) raises from late position I call. The flop is Q rag rag. I bet he comes over the top of me. I am thinking does he have AA or KK possibly QQ. I really felt the way my luck was going he probably had those hands but logically I put him on a lower pocket pair and he was just representing so I reraised then he reraise I pushed all in he called. He showed JJ. Finally I beat someone and doubled up in the process. So the night netted a loss of $25 but I stuck to my guns and withdrew all my funds and am looking for a new home to play.
It was probably shitty play on those 3 hands and I have pondered all night even in my sleep of how I could have gotten off of those and I finaly realized what it was. Most of these players, if not all were passive and weak and when they bet I should just give them credit for their hands (unless I have the nuts), becuase they usually do. They never reraise without anything, they always check to me because they know 90% of the time if I raised preflop I will bet out. 90% of those times they lay down to me. So when they come over the top I should just fold. I think a resolution is here.
