Thought you Might Want to Know
The following is an email I sent to Pokerstars.com:
[i:3f3ca43604]I have been a long time loyal Pokerstars player. I have even defended your site against people that came up with clever nicknames for your site, like Riverstars. I would just like you to know, I'm deleting Pokerstars.com software from my computer and will be transferring my funds out of my account. The reason? I thought you would never ask.
I belong to an online forum in Dallas, TX called WestonPoker.com. I have written articles, in which case your response to this email might just be used for material. The members are all serious poker players that play multiple times a day online and in poker rooms. We travel to Vegas multiple times a year. Several of our members have won their way into the WSOP. Out of our 200 members, I might be the only one that plays on Pokerstars. Now I know why. I have seen more posts in reference to bonuses being deposited in my friends accounts from other sites than I can count. It never bothered me until I looked back and realized how much money I've spent on pokerstars without receiving "comps". Maybe if you stopped sponsoring the millionaire winners of the WSOP for publicity, you would be able to provide your players with more than Frequent Player Points. Like I'm going to get excited about buying a poker book or duffle bag with FPPs? It doesn't take a marketing genius to know that it costs 1/10 as much to keep a loyal customer satisfied than it does to secure new customers.
I expect a reply to this message. I'm not asking for anything in return. I just want to make sure this email gets to the right person. If it were my company, I would want a person leaving to let me know why. So I have.
Sincerely,
Brad R. Ayres

I will definitely let everyone know what their response is. However, if anyone has any input, I would like to hear it. |
