Check. Check. Check. and Check some More..
So I played in a little home tourney tonight..I had been drinking a little bit so I knew I was wasting my $10 buyin but oh well. I wasn't taking things seriously at all. I just wanted to post and ask you guys if you have ever been involved in tourney where there was a HIGHLY unusual amount of checking going on? It was like every hand I was involved in or even just watched.. everybody was check check checking away. I nearly fell asleep. I busted out after a few hours even though I pretty much had people figured out - everyone at the table loved to trap - it was like they were afraid to bet their made hands or even their draws. What I couldn't figure out why I was seeing a set lose to a flush multiple times (someone holding a K7 suited) - Wtf? Anyone here witnessed anything like this? Or was I just drunk? I felt like I was playing a limit game. |
