Just flew in from Las Vegas....

So I just got back from Vegas and wanted to give everyone my results. I played probably 6-7 hours of cash game 1/2 NL at various places.......Here is the balance sheet....
Alladin -- (did I spell that right). I went there first as their 1/2 NL game had a $100 minimum buyin and I was a bit nervous. Bought in for $200.00. I sat, and everyone seemed to know each other....talking about the bad beats they had had, calling out every employee by name. Was I walking into the maelstrom?
No.
The play was absolutely AWFUL. Calling $50 raises with second pair with 4 clubs on the board. My third hand I picked up AK suited. Flop comes x-K-x and I bet $25. Three callers. turn is a K. First to act raises $15. Call to me -- Raise to $50. No flush or straight out there. First person calls and the other folds. Next card comes -- blank. Dude bets $10 into a $100+ pot. I say raise and he folds. Damn!
My other shining moment was against a total bum. Have you ever had a perfect read on someone all night? This guy was an open book. I get 9s and call a $10 raise from the BB. Flop comes A-4-9 rainbow. I watch this guy light up when the Ace hits so I just check. Bet $25 and I call. Next card is a J. He lights up like a Christmas tree. Two pair to my set of 9s. He raises $25. I call. Next card is a blank. He raises to $25. I make it sixty, he calls. Nice pot for me.
I walked out of there up $295.00. Not bad for walking in there scared. I played at the Strastophere and lost $110. in about 90 minutes. On the last day I won $170 playing at Luxor. So all in all a good trip.
I did lose $100 playing blackjack, and lost $20 betting on Duke -11 over the 10-14 Georgia Tech squad. so my winnings were zapped a bit from that. And I played in a $40 tourney in which I finished 14th out of 50.
I walked through the Bellagio poker room a few times. I was amazed at the number of 24 year olds that were playing huge limits -- some of these kids had $20K in $100 chips on the table. Its the poker craze, I tell you!
I think I saw Andy Bloch, but other than that no celebrity sightings....
