just one of those nights...
well i went to a house game... $0.25/$0.50 ring game... i buy in for 20 and get shit for cards for the first 2 hours... i manage to still have about 14 bucks in chips around 1am without winning a hand... and i finally get AA, the action is really fast at the table so i push all in for 14 and get 3 callers.. flop comes 48J check around... turn 10 one guy bets 2bucks... call around... river 9 and the same guy bets all in and everybody else folds... he turns over a 7 to win the pot with a jack high strait... his second card was effing 2 he called a substantial raise all in against a very tight player that had aces and sucked out a runner runner strait... no big deal right so i buy in another 40 and the verry next hand i get KK... and i raise 5 preflop... table calls around... i guess they think im on tilt or something... flop comes J,10,3... i bet 10 and folds around to the same guy that beat me with 7-2 the last hand.. he calls... the turn comes a 10... i bet all in for 25 bucks... and he calls... he turns over 3,4 of diamonds and hits the third 3 on the river giving him a full house to my 2pair... so at this point... im to say the least furious with the bad beats i have been given... so i buy in for my last 10 bucks to try to make an attempt at something... i play for about another hour without winning a pot and i get down to like 3bucks left and i get AK of spades... i go all in and one person calls and turns up 22 and nothing comes on the flop turn or river... so i leave after playing for about 3 hours without winning a hand the whole night
i was just wondering if anybody else has nights like theese... i play what i consider very solid poker and i still cant seem to win a single hand to save my life... well atleast i had the best of it when i got my money in.
how might i be able to avoid nights like this in the future??? |
