Re: frustration sets in
[quote:750f54efd0="TommyTwoToes"]i have had the worst luck with cards and tournaments etc that i have ever had recently... i win big just to loose it all back plus some cause some idiot cant lay down his runner runner inside straight... or whatever else they decide to call massive preflop raises with...
I am sick of it ... I am no longer playing for money that will exceed $25. I am officially giving up on playing poker to make money.
I am just tired of making the right moves and being rewarded with losing, and i am not talking about losing $5... i am talking about losing hundreds at a time ... this year i am a losing player( i am up live a little but down alot online)... last year i made some money but this year I am having no such luck. anything that could go bad has... and i need a break. I will no longer be goign ot any casinos and i will not longer be playing at an underground room. at the friday 5 i will jsut puch all in on the first hand cause frankly poker has become nothing but a luck box event in my world so i might as well get it over with.
there is no justice in poker there is no "in the longterm" that is bull shit made up by lucky people to keep you thinking that eventually you will break even .. well it aint going to happen... its not how it works ... the lucky stay lucky and the others fall to the way side...[/quote:750f54efd0]
I'm right there with you. But I never can seem to make my poker strike last, I get that itch to play and I just do it. Like wow..went to winstar last night and witnessed a lady call an all in bet of about $110 with only a straight draw. He had flopped top two pair and a 10 was the only thing that was going to save her. Turn comes with a 10. Ouch. Same lady, few hands later calls an all in with Kd 10d (only one diamond on the board) and shes up against pocket kings. Insane. This lady still had alot of chips.. about $400 at a glance. Quality player? Doubtful. |
