Caesars Palace Poker Room Review

Caesars Palace Poker Room Review

I decided to step it up and stop playing the 1-3 spread, and made my way over to Caesars new(ish) poker room tonight. I was very impressed with their entire layout. I decided to play the 3-6 structure game, which has $1/$3 blinds. They spread many different games, with some of the featured tables looking like the guys on "High Stakes Poker." (Wads of cash behind their chips).
I sat with $100; let the blinds go around twice before I had a hand worth playing, and then played the cards I was given. There were a max of 3-4 people in pre-flop, so it was fairly easy to read your hand. I quickly went up $140, and just started playing conservative. Hung around for two hours, but didn't get many hands worth playing. I figured I'd leave while I had $240 in front of me (I have a tendency to stay too long and give money back).
Even if I hadn't won, I still would have been impressed with their operation. It's 100% professional from top to bottom. I also got to enjoy the NCAA games on big flat plasma TV's. Drinks were consistent, dealers were competent, non-smoking floor, no donkeys. Just great poker. I would encourage anyone making a trip to stop by the new Caesars poker room.
