MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
as some of you know, i'm heading to vegas in july with a bunch of other folks. the plan was to play event #17 of the WSOP. well, i didn't have the cash to justify buying into the $1000 event and then still staying in vegas for a week. so i figured i had one last shot at playing in the tourny.
last night about 11pm, i deposited $150 into party poker. i decided if i could turn that in to $1000, i would play in the tourny. so tonight, just after 11pm, i stopped playing. you will be happy to know (or at least i am) that not only did i make enough for the tourny, but in about 24 hours i turned $150 into $2041. so not only do i have my buy-in, but plenty of spending cash.
i really didn't post this to brag. i'm just really excited because i didn't think i was going to get to play the WSOP this year.
