Is Limit Poker Drying up

Is Limit Poker Drying up

There is an article in this months edition of Cardplayer Magazine that discussed the advantages/disadvantages of limit vs. no limit. What I am intrigued by is a comment made that says: "Unless there is a tournament in town most middle limit games are drying up." All the new players are going to no limit.

I'm curious about this, because it seems that for the lower limit hold em games that I am playing in, there is always an abundance of 1-2, 3-6, up to 10-20 games going. So is it the end of limit poker live? There is definately postive argument to advance my skills in the NL cash games, but do we really think that it's the slow demise of live limit poker?

If so, what next? Like Vegas the phenomenon is going to change constantly over the next 5-10 years (max), until it is a dull roar of ... what? No Limit Triple Draw? Limit Gin making a comeback?

What do you all think? I know limit will never go away, but is it really possible that NL could be the main way to play later?
