Foxwoods
We (my parents, Heather, and I) went to Foxwoods yesterday. Great drive through Southern Mass. and Connecticut.
The poker room was huge and crowded. Exciting. The play was better, in general, than I had seen in Vegas. The one crazy at our 2-4 limit table was an Asian chic that kept hitting with her 47, etc. I played for about 4 hours and was up 40 at one point, and ended up down about 80. I made some mistakes specifically and got too loose in general, but it was a good experience. I think I played well enough to win in the "long run", but this was good. I made most of it back at Pai Gow, and my dad made all his back and more at blackjack.
I ended up not playing in the tourney, because it was a unlimited rebuy plus add-on tourney that didn't sound great, and would put us home really late.
