I thought this only happened online
In today's WSOP from Cardplayer.com
Jack Mahalingam is all-in for $5,000 and is called an opponent in late position. Mahalingam shows 8 :spade: 8 :club: and his opponent has 5 :club: 5  . The flop is 6 :spade: 5 :spade: 5 :diamond: and his opponent flops quads. The turn is a 9 :spade: giving Mahalingam a gut-shot straight flush draw (his only way to win). The river is the 7 :spade: giving Mahalingam the straight flush and the hand.
He flopped quads and lost.
Anybody know how that must feel? |
