Daniel's First Protege
So I was bored at work today and was looking around cardplayer.com.
It turns out that the guy who was Daniel's first protege works for one of the companies that owns with us, and is in my group. I emailed the Presidents Assitant and asked if she knew him.
So she calls and says (laughing): "Is this about poker?"
"Yeah, I didn't know that he worked for you!"
"Did you want to talk to him?"
"Nah, I just didn't even know who you guys were before I worked here...and now one of your employees is a known player."
(blah blah, we talked poker for a few minutes)
In the end she said if I ever needed to get ahold of him for poker advice to give her a call and she would set it up.
Just thought it was one of those small world things. |
