Always a risk of collusion
I was at the Trump Taj at a $5/$10 table with a buddy of mine and there was a loud gregarious guy going nuts every hand. He was very obnoxius so I got up and my buddy stayed.
As I watched him play with the loud guy and three others, I watched the guy closest to my buddy eyeing his cards, a second later I saw him signal his "buddy" the loud guy. It was subtle but I watched and caught it.
I told my buddy, whispered in his ear, because I also noticed the loud guy signaling the guy next to my buddy when HE had a good hand, I told my buddy the tell and if he did not see it he knew the loud guy was bluffing! After my buddy took him down a few hands, he got up yelling and whining, amazingly, two other guys got up and walked in the same direction. So I think there were three of 'em there at the table!
Just goes to show you!
