Online vs Live

So I was reading Danny's latest Blog entry:

This isn't the first time I have heard of high stakes pros saying some of the exact same things. Listening to "The Circuit" a while back, they interviewed Barry Greenstien and he talked a bit about playing online verses live in "the big game".

Daniel basically echoed what he said. The big game just doesn't happen very much anymore, everyone is playing online, its easier and what not. But that he doesn't like online play, perfers live play.

With that said, is that good or bad for poker?

And secondly, how will all the legal chaos effect this trend?
