HSP - Yukon Brad takes Ivey to SKOOL

HSP - Yukon Brad takes Ivey to SKOOL

Who's your daddy? Thats what Brad Booth implied on the recent HSP episode when he bluffed Ivey off his KK.

I don't recall the exact preflop bets, but it went something like this:

Booth sat down with 1 million dollars. one million dollars.

Booth was in the SB I think. Ivey was UTG or UTG+1 and he either limped or small raised. Mighta been a caller or 2, then Booth raised to like $7000ish with 2 :spade: 4 :spade:

Ivey re-raised to $14K with KK.

Booth thinks for a while, then asks Ivey how much he is playing for, he replies "about $280K".......Booth thinks a little longer and calls.

Flop 3  6 :club: 7 :spade: (or something like that, giving him a inside straight draw)

Ivey Bets 23K and Booth thinks for a minute then throws out 3 bricks of cash ($100K each) and says ALL IN.

Ivey thinks for quite a while, even makes some comments about the cash and in the end, he throws away his kings.

Booth was playing the bigstack geniusly, after that he started catching cards and betting big but he never had to show a single hand.

Its a good episode, catch the replay whenever that may be. Its the one that Patrick Antonius sits down at the table.
(Jim, he doesn't do his secret service routine during his hands this time)
