Oooh! Oooh! My turn
I've got a hand to discuss. Let's get into it.
You are at a $1-2 no-limit game with nine players and have $160 in front of you. You are dealt pocket Jacks under the gun and raise it up to $10. It folds around to an older player who likes to use the term "gambling" when discussing good poker players abilities (i.e. having some gamble in them). He is in late-middle/early-late position. He pops it another $30.
Before we move on I will give you some information about this guy. First of all he has you covered by about $75-100. Secondly, he has made this same play three times already and each time has shown 6-6, 7-7 and 8-8. Twice he made continuation bets and won the pot and the other time I can't remember what happened, but I am pretty sure he lost the hand.
The guy on your right (the big blind) cold calls the $40. He also has you covered but by only $20 or so.
What do you do here? |
