Rounder Room
Played in a new place last night called the Rounder Room. It is in Addison. Pretty nice place, liked the setup that they had. they use the software that is piped into the tv so that you know how much time is remaining on blinds, how many players are in, the payouts, how much chips are worth, etc.
only problem was it cards SUCKED. I played 3 hands, a WOPPING THREE FREAKING HANDS. I won one and lost two. Lost with AQ to quad runners to a flush, that was a big one too, would have made me big chip lead. That caused me to have to rebuy, which I wasn't happy about. Then after it became a freeze out, I lose with QQ, becasue everyone thinks that if they have a A in their hand, no matter what the kicker, you should call all ins. It was full of call stations. At one point, during rebuys, there were FIVE people all in. Now that is ridiculous. THey didn't care, because they would just rebuy. and 103 off took it down. Guy hit runner runner 10's to win it. Glad I wasn't in that one. |
