$120 pot lost to rnr rnr costs me $3k
Sobby sad bad beat story beware!!
I went up to Winstar for their new poker room opening. I was #280 on the NL list. So I ended up going over to Choctaw.
I just took a nasty beat (KK<KJ on rnr rnr J) and was down to about $100 on the 1-2NL. I am MP with QdJd. 1 limper to me I limp +2 more limp. Button pushed all in for $30 more. SB calls BB calls. Action to me. The 2 players behind me fold so I know they are not calling, what do you do? The table has been playing pretty snug and not out of line but KJ boy. So far calling $30 meant they had something pretty good.

Well I folded. I was a little steaming after the beat so I calmed down and told my self not to play that hand. The flop comes 9d9cTd. Check, Check. Turn is Kd. I just about loose it right there and walk away from the table. Any way SB leads out for $40. BB folds and SB turns over 99. Can you say Bad Beat Jackpot gone because of runner runner J on the hand before! Needless to say I was useless after that. Jack Pot was $12,300. GG me and goodnight. |
