Wow this first "leg" is tougher than I thought. I have kinda been running in place at about $50. It is different then playing at 1/2 or 2/5 cash or playing in $20 SNGs. The play is totally different.
1. In .01/.02 NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY will lay down a flush draw. I know that is supposed to work out in your favor in the long run, but man I have had a gazillion hit against me when they called with HORRIBLE odds. Just have to realize they are there and if it hits cut bait.
2. It is very hard to bluff at this level, because the average player here doesn't have a clue what you are trying to imply you have. They just know they have 2nd pair and god darnit they are in it to win it!
3. All raises will be called in .01/.02 (unless 50X BB or so..lol). If they have .02 in there gosh darnit it is time to commit even if that guy has been playing solid just raised it to .12
Now it makes for some fun pots when you hit, but god it can be frustrating at times. I guess I can't complain, because I have increased my bankroll by almost 17X.
I can't wait to get to the .02/.05 tables. I am sure they are so much better...hahahaha. |
