Fantasy Poker WSOP Main Event
Anyone interested in playing in a little fantasy poker for the Main event? I am a little late to propose such an idea. The Main Event Day1 Play starts tomorrow at Noon.
So because there is no time to debate how such a game should be played. I will run it like a fantasy golf tournaments I have played in the past.
If we had time to do it right, we could have a draft..but we don't....so here we go.
Pick 10 poker players, any 10 players. (in case of someone picking the same 10 players or there is a tie....we will cross that bridge later)
- Each player will earn points for your team based on the Main event finish. 1st palce earns 1 point. 50th place earns 50 points....etc.
- If your player doesn't make the money, he earns whatever points the bubble player would have earned. If they pay 500 people, not making the money gets 501 points.
Its that simple. We'd have to play on the honor system since there is little to no chance of collecting money from everyone before it starts.
$5 entry fee, winner take all.
If you are interested. Either post your players in this thread or PM me your players.
We could technically extend the entry deadline through the start of Day 4, however you could only choose players that have no played yet.
I will keep track of all entrees and post them in a new thread once we get going. |
