quad aces
i hit quad aces last night. but I guess I played it wrong. I had no idea how to plya it, as I have never had quads, much less quad aces.
i had A?, not a very strong kicker at all, but i hadn't played a hand ina while so I decided to see the flop. hit an A on the flop. I bet 10, get two callers. A on 4th street, I bet 10 get two callers. A on the river, I bet 40, they both fold. the comment was made that they both would have called another 10, so I guess I lost out on 20 bucks because I over bet the pot.
the suggestion that I was told by badbeat, which I agree with now that I look back at the hand was....... 10 on the flop, when the A hit on 4th street to give me trips, I should have checked, then called. then let them play to me after the river falls. So I left some money out there because I wsn't sure what to do with quad A. |
