My Birthday present from UB
So its my birthday. I am feeling froggy. So I decide to play a sng. When low and behold I am sitting in 4th with 4 left. I figure my luck sucks so it wouldnt be ironic if I go out in 4th on my b-day. So the phone rings I answer it, its my wife yada yada yada. I get back to my PC and what do I see. Me heads up with the chip leader. WOW.....I guess its really my b-day after all.
Well I have 2500 he has 12500. I figure what the hell I made second. So we start to grind it out over the next 45 min. Up down Up down. So I am sitting on 3k when I get KTo. Blinds are 300 and 600. I raise to 1200 he puts me all in. I say well I am kinda pot committed. So I call, its my birthday. Flopp come TTK. Who would have figured. I double up. Two hands later I get KTo again same blind, I raise 1200 he puts me all in. I call. Flop comes KKT, Who would have figured. So now I am sitting on 12k and he has 3k. He wins a couple of small pots get to about 4500.
I get dealt KTo again. I thinking wow KTo 3 times in last 8 hands somebody is telling me something. So I raise, he immediately come over the top. He is short stacked I am thinking he has Ax. So I think about it and decide someone wants me to play these KcTd since I keep getting them. So i call. I figure I win right there or we are about even in chips. Loose call but its my birthday. Cards turn over he shows AQo. I am think shoot, I was hoping he had A9 or lower. The flop comes QCTCAs. I am thinking wow I am really screwed here he flopped top 2 pair. I need to catch runner runner to win. Turn 9C. Now i am thinking ok one more club and I am good or any jack I am good too. The river JACK O CLUBS. I riverd a K high Straight Flush on my Birthday.
I know that guy was so pissed considering he was 6 to 1 chip favorite to win. Anyways thought you guys would like to hear about that.
Since I figured I was on a rush I played one more SNG before my birthday ended. I caught AA raise preflop, flop was rags I moved all in. I was short stacked about 1000 in chips. Guy calls with JJ hits his quad runners for the str8. So UB givith and takith away.
