I can't believe what i read, y'all couldn't be more [b:3af82c1094]wrong[/b:3af82c1094].
First of all, pre-flop BB is last to act. [b:3af82c1094]What u should have noticed is
he doubleraises[/b:3af82c1094] (very suspicious), so probably he doesn't want either of u two out the hand. Ur buddy folds and u have no choice but calling to c a flop. I agree on the call but...
Keep in ur mind also that most (all) people don't like to be bubbled or pre-bubbled. Most people don't play to be first all the time but to cash out, even if it's only two times ur buy-in. Believe me on that. If ur lowstack and the bubble boy is gone, it isn't impossible to get 1st, just more challenging! OK there will be times the blinds eat u, but u jump even higher if ur 34offsuit do hit 2p. And if u don't hit, u didn't LOSE.
Thats ALL there is to it.
...to continue the hand
When he bets the 40.000 u know he is comitted for his full stack. So he goes all-in in ur mind, and risks busting out dry! U know (holding KQ :spade: ) u made top pair second best kicker. Now u can't put him on something medium like A10, because he would NEVER go all-in with that at that time in the tourney. So what is he betting? U have to put him on AQ, or a set (10 10 10) or OVERPAIR, U CAN ONLY BEAT A MASSIVE BLUF or a flushdraw (coinflip) but thats unlikely because he doubled pre-flop. (u check, call suits or u bet more to chase people away)
