OK, if I am trying to decide my pot odds I need a little help, because I know that my miscalculation here is going to make this REALLY off.
Example, there is $1500 in the pot and it's going to cost me $500 to make the call...is that a 3-1 (5 to win 15) or a 4-1 (5 to win 20)?
I think I may have misheard but I thought that you were supposed to count your last bet in the total for the pot to calculate your proper odds. It seemed really silly the first time I heard it, so it stuck with me. Is that wrong? Are you only supposed to count your call against the final before your bet?
