Don't have the hand history.. anyway. Pretty much limped pot.. someone makes it $4 to go in a 1/2 NL table. 6 players to the flop..I have 8d 6d..so I played a suited gapper for $4..whatever. Flop comes 8, 2, 6. It is checked around to me so I bet the pot..I get one caller and the rest of the table folds. There are two hearts on the board but this guy calls immediately..so I dont give him credit for a flush draw at all. Turn is a K of spades .. I bet the pot again.. he calls.. immediately. River card comes with a heart..was not a face card though. I make a final bet and he reraises putting me all in. I really start thinking does this guy have set? I think about it for a bit and decide there is no way he has a set. I call..and he shows me a sooted k7 of hearts. What did I do wrong here ? I mean..I was betting to get the draws out of there..I was ready to take the pot down on the flop and this guy still outdraws me. Took me for over $100. Should I not be angry here? Who was the donkey this hand? Him or me?
Maybe I should stick to the $20+2 SNGs.. I've had 4 1st place finishes this week in those.
