Re: Fold here?

Re: Fold here?

[quote:fdbb67601c="Cmetilt"]Here's the details. 40 person live tourney. I'm at the final table. 4 people left. I'm second in chips with about 38K. Dead small blind. Blinds 2000/4000 Ante is 500. First guy goes all in for 16K. I have 88. I call, thinking the guys behind me will fold to an all in and a call. So theres approximately 38K in the pot. The button folds and the BB goes all in. The BB was the chip leader with about 52K. So now there is 62K in the pot. (I had 24K left after calling the all in)

What do you do with 88, an all in in front, you call, and an all in from the chip leader?

Before I post what I did and the results, I would like to know what others would have done in this situation.[/quote:fdbb67601c]

It's possible he thinks you guys are sharing an ace so he decided to put some pressure on you with JJ? If he picked up a monster in the BB - that's what I'd see him doing. I cant put him on a AK or AQ - I think he has a pocket pair higher than 8 and I might consider folding. That's tough..depending on his type of play.

EDIT: Just saw your post.. how far off was I.. lol
