[quote:b12e30e35e="codelogic"]I thought this was pretty.. even though i played it horribly..silly freerolls. I actually forgot I had registered in this freeroll and logged in to discover I was being blinded off pretty badly.. I had 480 chips left at this level..now I'm in 4th chip position with 30,000. Pretty neat.

Well, you won, which isn't bad and you admitted that you played it poorly. I would have bet the flop for sure, you would have got another bet out of him. The checkraise just screams power in most cases, and you could have lost him on it.
Spare me the question, but was there something in this hand that would make you think A/7o was a good hand to have?
You didn't open with a raise, you just called and you were the opener of the pot, so a raise would have either: A) got more money in the middle or B)got them to fold or C) got you reraised and properly out of there which is where A/7 really belongs.
With two hearts out there (on the flop), you are potentially still at risk to two types of hand. Heart draws and kicker cards. Since you didn't define your hand these possibilities are still out there. You really should have bet here to srive them to fear you. Slowplaying trips is bad juju and will get you nothing but hurt. Because of that check you also missed a potental betting op.
As for the rest, it was pretty standard, I would have tried betting more on the turn, but other than that from then on you were just about right.
