This is more of an online tell that I have personally observed..but has anyone else noticed that usually odd bets tend to be bluffs more often than not? I mean of course [i:7d30cf54ee]it depends[/i:7d30cf54ee] but I have observed this time and time again. Tourney last night - blinds 100/200 - someone raises it to 1111. One caller. Another person makes it 4500 to go. Both players fold. Why? Same tourney..and this happened to me that made me realize this could be a useful tool..I get dealt 88 behind the button in a 6 handed tourney. Blinds are 15/30 and this is also a DS. UTG player raises it up to 130. He's got two face cards. Easy. I have played with this guy before and had notes on him. I intend on reraising him to 290..but as I'm typing in 290 quickly..I hit the 3 key as well on accident and my bet becomes 2903..and I'm like shit..this could be good..this could be bad. He thinks about and says "I wonder what this "donkey" could have" (My FT avatar is the donkey now) and finally goes all in..I call with my remaining chips. He has K  J  and the board brings no help. With that said, do you guys think making odd bets is useful? Sometimes I'll throw a weird number out there when I've got the nuts and often get called..or in this case..did it on accident and got a call. How about representing an accidental bet?
