Ok guys I see some familiar names floating around this place so decided to post this here. I would like some honest opinions on how you would play this hand.
1/2 Table
I am table captain with $671
The guy to my immediate left is what I consider to be the best player at the table (besides me of course ..). He has played a very solid game and generally when he has bet he has had a hand. I will call him Lefty
He is sitting at $475 or so
I pick up AA UTG.
I limp
Lefty raises it up to $7, and two guys call around to me (both smalls). I bet $32. Lefty calls, Small goes all in (for less), and the other small calls. Pot is roughly $150
Flop: 7sJh9c
I look and the other small has $64 left so I bet $64. Lefty calls, and small folds. Pot is now $278. I am getting suspicious of lefty, and why he is hanging around.
Turn: Kh
I bet $100. Lefty comes over the top of me and goes all in for $275 or so. Pot is now roughly $650.
Let me hear a few thoughts and then I will tell you what happened.
For what it is worth my "read" on the guy was KJ or JJ in his hand, but reads can be right or wrong at times.
