Coinflips/% to win in tournaments

Coinflips/% to win in tournaments

Last night in a tourney on Full Tilt.. I ended up getting involved in a huge 3 way pot. I picked up QQ in the big blind and this fellow goes all in from UTG+2. I know I have myself a race. I just *KNOW* I'm not dominated. I know he has AK OR AQ and wants to see all five cards. I was about two seconds away from folding before I finally went all in. I actually said, "Fuck it. If he hits his Ace good for him." I have not looked at the stats yet, but after the flop I'm quite sure I was 80% or 90% to win. Now on to my question Westonites:

When you just *KNOW* you are in a race situation what do you do? I obviously took my stack size in account to make my decision..I still had alot of chips left. I am not afraid to get my money in when I know I have the bigger half of the coin..but it does not ever seem to pay off. I'll be less likely to care if someone "on the wire" or with an M of 20 wins a coinflip against me than against this fellow who had a sizeable amount of my stack.

I was considering a new strategy and I'd like to hear if I should just continue with my current game. My current game involves getting it ALL IN preflop if I *KNOW* I'm ahead. I have decided I am going to take more flops..even when I know I am ahead. [b:953169b252]If I know exactly what a player has shouldn't I take a flop instead of seeing all five cards?[/b:953169b252]
