Last night at DSOP, I went out 8th on the following hand. Give me some feedback on if I made the right play here.
8 people left. Blinds were 800/1600 w/ 50 ante. I'm in the BB and look down at Q :diamond: J :diamond: . 5th position raises to 3200. Small blind calls and I call. I had about 14000 left at this point, before calling the extra 1600. Flop comes Q :spade: 6 :spade: 4 :spade: , SB goes all in. SB was the chip leader at the table with about 50-60K. Why in the hell would he go all in if he had any kind of hand? I think for a minute and call. The original raiser thinks and then folds showing the A :spade: . The all in flips up K :spade: 9 :club: . Turn is 7  and the river is 9 :spade: . Thus busting me out.
I think I made the right call there. I knew I was ahead and didn't think that the original raiser had a pocket pair bigger than my Q. He had A :spade: K :diamond: , by the way.
