K-10 how to play this hand.

so how do you play this hand?

most of the time this hand will be a calling hand if late in position and no significant raise is made... or it is a folding hand if you are early in position. and if you are on the button and it has been folded around to you then it is a raising hand to buy the blinds.

if you are the big blind and holding this hand and the button or small blind raises it is ok t assume that they are bluffing and to CALL them.. .reraising is dangerous cause it gives them a chance to raise you back.. calling is ok cause it gives you a chance to make your hand against an unknown hand that you opponent has.. sure they may have nothing but YOU DONT EITHER. so why risk it....
in the occassional instance it is ok to raise their raise to protect your blinds .. but i dont recomend this.. if you do deccide to raise and then the other person goes all in or reraises then it might be time to stop and think.... huh maybe they do have a hand... of course the easy explanation that I and to many people have made the mistake of doing and learned from it the hard way is to assume that they are bluffing and want to call to not let them get away with that shit .. .but wait .. lets think about it .. is K-10 the best hand .... all it would take is A high... is it so unreasonalbe that someone might have at least A high and raise... so sit there and think about it you have nothing with k-10 and this guy raised me then went all in preflop... is K-10 really that strong .. no likely it is not ... even if he has nothing you have nothing also.

also another way of dealing with this hand is not to raise a raiser but to raise all in... if you are willing to bluff go all the way and force the decision... you may get caught in your bluff but a bluff is a decent and common poker move. calling an all in is not a bluff it is chasing good money after bad.
