i was not the person involved in this hand, however i had been asked to stake this player $100... so since his decision affected my wallet, i thought that i would get some feedback on a particular hand. (which we later argued over and resulted in me stating, "don't ever ask me to stake you again because the answer is 'no.'")
$1/2 NL at the mirage in vegas. 9 players at the table. you have $78 in front of you and have been playing about 30 minutes.
you're in the big blind with pocket kings. a couple of players fold and a "crazy" player with $650 in front of him makes it $25 to go. a couple of folds and a player calls. it folds to you in the big blind and you look down at your pocket kings. a call from you will put the pot at $76 and leave you with $53. what do you do?
*fold
*call with the intention of going all-in if no ace comes or check-folding if an ace comes on the flop
*re-raise all-in
i think the answer is relatively straight-forward, but maybe i'm crazy...
