so i just played a heads up match in which every time the guy was the button he would min raise....
no one ever folds to a min raise preflop in HU.... no one...
and well me i reraise preflop if some asshat makes a habit of min raising every single time.
the basic problem iwth the min raise every time is:
1. not everytime are you going to actually have a hand when you are min raising ... which leads to having to fold to a significant reraise.
2. no one folds thus you are building a pot that you may never win.
3. you are increasing your blinds effectively thus paying twice as many blinds as your opponent.
so in this situation after he min raised to 40 , I rerasied to 180 and he folded... then i folded my small blind... then he min raised again and i reraised to 180 and he folded.... i folded my small blind ... then he min raised again i reraised to 180 and he folded....
this went on and on and on... he lost the remaining of his chips when he min raised and i finally said fuck it i will jsut call... hell the guy pissed away half his stack min raising and folding EVERY SINGLE TIME. so i jsut call with 8-9... the flop is 8-9-2... i check he bets i call the turn is a 3 ... I check he bets i go all in he calls... he has 2-3 ... LOL
anyway i won the HU match... but jesus guys dont ever EVER play likethis idiot.
