Re: My move on ray last night

Re: My move on ray last night

[quote:7094a79e20="TommyTwoToes"]so i guess here is a question ... how many of yall practice acting ?[/quote:7094a79e20]I usually use the cash games to practice acting. My most profitable "performance style" when I'm holding a hand is to verbally contemplate, especially when holding a wild hand. Example, holding 7-10 board coming 8-9-X for the double-ended straight draw. Betting/calling the draw, and hitting it on the turn or the river. If I've done my job right the person will bet/raise on the river. After that move, contemplating "what could you possibly have... maybe a 7-10? no way anyone would play that... etc" before seriously re-raising.

It sounds kind of amateurish, I know... but whatever works, right?

(note: for me this works especially well with strangers)
