WSOP Satellite Tourny

WSOP Satellite Tourny

If anyone is interested in this let me know and I can get you more details:

$200 buy-in
$10,000 starting stack

The blinds are the exact same as the WSOP $1,500 events this year (starting 25/50). The only change is that our levels will be 40 minutes instead of 60 minutes. We will have ten minute breaks every two hours and there will be a 45 minute dinner break.

Location:
McKinney, TX
Start Date: April 26, 2008 (Saturday)

Cards will be dealt promptly at 2pm.

Lastly, here is the information on the prize pool:

The tournament is a modified winner take all tournament. For every 10 players who participate one prize will be given out. First prize is $2,000 ($1,500 will go to a WSOP buy-in and $500 will be for hotel/air expenses).

The intent of the satellite tournament is to send someone to Las Vegas to attend the WSOP. In order to encourage this at the end of the night the winners will receive only the expense money. The remaining money for the buy-in will be send directly to the WSOP for the buy-in the winner chooses. There are multiple $1,500 WSOP events this year and there are eight No Limit Hold'em events on the following dates: May 31, June 5, June 14, June 17, June 19, June 21, June 28 & June 30.

In the unlikely event someone is unable or unwilling to attend the WSOP the prize will be modified. In this case the winning person will receive only $1,000 in cash. The other $1,000 will be rolled over into the end of year tournament (the $1,000 will be added to the prize pool of that tournament).

Here is the entire prize pool breakdown:
