So I was rereading Dan Harringtons second poker book today.
Specifically the part about inflection points.
I assume you guys know all about this. (If not read below*)
Anyways I don't use the same ranges as he does.
I continue to play normal poker 15+
I tighten up instead of loosening up in the 11-14 range.
I am more conservative between 6-10
I play the same 5 or less.
I am going to try modifying my game to loosen up in the 11-14 range and see how that suits me. Any other suggestions or should I play like harrington?
*He has the Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, and the Dead Zones. Based on his M he is in a certain zone. He adds the BB/SM +all the antes (ie the size of the pot) before action into his stack size to determine M. Which places you in the different zones.
Green 20+
Yellow 20-10
Orange 6-10
Red 1-5
Dead >1
